Everyone who signs up before 1st September 2026 gets all Premium features completely free until that date — no credit card needed, no strings attached. After 1st September, your account moves to the Free tier unless you choose to subscribe at £1.99/month. We'll send you a reminder before the free period ends.
No. You can create a free account and use all Premium features during early access without providing any payment details. You only need to add a card if you decide to subscribe after 1st September 2026.
Yes, absolutely. There is no minimum term, no lock-in, and no cancellation fee. Go to Settings → Subscription in your dashboard and click "Cancel subscription". Your Premium features stay active until the end of your current billing month. After that, you simply move to the Free tier.
Nothing is deleted. Your listing, photos, and messages are all kept exactly as they are. You simply lose access to Premium-only features (like the extended inbox and additional photos). If you re-subscribe later, everything is instantly restored. We never delete data just because you've downgraded.
Stripe (our payment provider) will automatically retry a failed payment. You'll receive an email notification asking you to update your card details. There is a 7-day grace period during which your Premium features remain active. If the payment isn't resolved within 7 days, your account moves to Free automatically. You can resubscribe at any time.
Yes. We use Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment processors. We never see or store your full card number. All payment data is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS compliance standards. You can add, update, or remove your card from your account settings at any time.
We consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@mutualexchange.uk within 14 days of the charge and we'll look into it promptly.
Currently we offer only monthly billing at £1.99/month. We may introduce annual billing in the future. Our philosophy is to keep things simple and affordable — no complex bundles, no confusing tiers.
